Phillip Schofield is taking a short break from presenting This Morning.
He has been absent since Monday, March 27, 2023 and will be off the rest of the week (ending March 31, 2023).
It is understood he is away from his post as he is "having a week off".
Phillip usually presents the ITV show from Monday to Thursday alongside Holly Willoughby.

Who is replacing Phillip Schofield?
Alison Hammond has taken Phillip's place in the hotseat as co-host alongside Holly.
The bubbly presenter usually presents This Morning every Friday with Dermot O'Leary.
Fans were thrilled to see see Alison filling in for Phil, with one tweeting: "Wow @alisonhammond55 you took the lead host today you are so amazing it was like Holly was standing in for Phil."
When will Phillip Schofield return to This Morning?
It is understood Phillip will return to his usual presenting duties on Monday, April 3, 2023.

Phil made his television debut as the first presenter of the youth music programme Shazam! in New Zealand.
From September 1985 he was the face of Children's BBC, in what was known as the Broom Cupboard, with Gordon the Gopher.
He left to present Going Live! on Saturday mornings withSarah Greene between September 1987 and April 1993.
From 1988 to 1991, he was the host of the Smash Hits Poll Winners Party, a pop-magazine awards show.
Since 2002, he has been a presenter on This Morning replacing John Leslie.
Phil presented with Fern Britton until 2009, with Holly who replaced Fern in September that year.
