RADIO star Charlie Hedges is getting ready for her biggest challenge yet – becoming a mum.
She is well known on the airwaves, and just like her fellow Radio 1 stars Clara Amfo and Melvin Odoom, she got her big break on KISS FM.
Who is Charlie Hedges?
Charlie, 35, was born in London on July 18, 1986.
She is a DJ and radio presenter known for hosting Radio 1.
Charlie has also gained prestige as as performer, DJing at internationally renowned events like the Sundance festival.
In January 2016, she also launched the music podcast Skiddle to Mixcloud.

Charlie hosted the KISS FM Breakfast Show for 10 years with Rickie Haywood-Williams and Melvin Odoom, and the trio are known as simply Rickie, Melvin and Charlie.

As Greg James, who is on the slot before her, played "ell Me Something Good and called on Charlie, she shared: "I'm having a baby," leaving everyone in shock.
The music then suddenly cut off as Greg asked: "You – what are you talking about?" to which she responded by repeating: "I'm having a baby."
"You're having a baby! Are you joking? What are you talking about?" Greg exclaimed as Charlie stood up to show him her blossoming baby bump.
"I'm having a baby Greg! Surprise!" Charlie said as they all giggled and congratulated her.
