LUBA Mushtuk is returning to Strictly Come Dancing for the 2019 series as one of the show's professional dancers.
But just who is she? And when did she date Giovanni Pernice? Here's everything we know about her…
Who is Luba Mushtuk?
Luba is a professional dancer and choreographer, who has competed professionally and played an important role on Strictly Come Dancing for a number of years.
In previous series' she has helped out behind the scenes with choreography for the pros and their partners, and also filled in as a back-up dancer for the show's big opening numbers.
In May 2018 it was announced she is set to officially join the line-up as a professional dancer on the show for the 2018 series.
Luba has also taken part in the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tours, dancing with the likes of former winners Ore Oduba.
She also danced with Strictly Giovanni Pernice's 2018 solo tour, Born to Win.
Luba has also toured the world in the likes of Burn The Floor.
Did Luba date Giovanni Pernice?
In November 2017 it was reported that Luba was in a relationship with Giovanni.
They are said to have been friends for years before taking things to the next level.
When The Sun exclusively revealed they were dating, a source said: “She would like their romance to be out in the open. Luba is very keen to be on the show one day."
By New Year 2018, he was dating TOWIE's Jess Wright and the relationship was over.
The pair later reunited, with Luba recently celebrating Giovanni's birhday with a sweet Instagram post.
The caption said: "Happy Birthday to you @pernicegiovann1, my beautiful Giovanechka.
"Have the best day full of surprises (I'll make sure about that) Love you."
However, in January 2019, Ashley Roberts, who competed in Strictly in 2018, confirmed she was dating Giovanni.
That same month, Giovanni echoed Ashley by discussing their relationship during an interview on ITV's Lorraine.
When does Strictly Come Dancing 2019 start?
Strictly Come Dancing will be back for its 17th series on BBC One in 2019.
It starts off with the red carpet launch on Monday, August 26, 2019.
The series premiere will follow shortly after, but a date is yet to be confirmed.
The main show will air live on Saturday evenings with the results the following day on Sundays.
In 2018 the show started on October 6 – with this in mind the show could start on Saturday October 5.
In July 2019 it was revealed Motsi Mabuse will be joining the judging panel of Shirley Ballas, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel-Horwood.
Darcey Bussell quit the show in April 2019.
Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly return as the presenting duo, with Rylan Clark-Neal confirmed as host of Strictly: It Takes Two alongside Zoe Ball.
