Alex Rodriguez Couldn’t Keep His Cool During J.Lo’s Super Bowl Halftime Show

Alex Rodriguez continues to prove that he’s Jennifer Lopez’s biggest fan.

Rodriguez showed his support for his superstar fiancée during her unforgettable Super Bowl halftime performance alongside Shakira last night. The former Yankees player filmed himself in the middle of the stadium crowd—along with his daughters—screaming, shouting, and singing along with fans during Lopez’s set.

“AMAZING!! She ABSOLUTELY CRUSHED IT! Wow, that was so fun!” Rodriguez captioned the video. “I’m so proud of you, Jen!”

Last night’s halftime show pulled out all the stops—including surprise appearances from rappers Bad Bunny and J Balvin, a pole dancing routine from Lopez, and a bit of guitar shredding from Shakira. Lopez’s daughter, Emme Muñiz, stole the show with a solo performing Lopez’s hit “Let’s Get Loud,” as well as a rendition of Bruce Springsteen’s “Born in the U.S.A.”

On her Instagram, Lopez shared a sweet image of her and Shakira hugging hours before the two superstars took the stage.

“So excited to share the stage with you tonight @Shakira!” posted Lopez. “Let’s show the world what two little Latin girls can do.”

Shakira returned the favor by shouting out her co-headliner with a just-as-sincere social media post right after the conclusion of the Super Bowl.

“Thank you @jlo for a night that shows how much Latinos have to offer!” wrote Shakira.
