Alyssa Milano APOLOGIZES for Britney Spears 'bullying' tweet

Alyssa Milano APOLOGIZES for tweet begging ‘someone to check on Britney Spears’ – after singer branded post ‘bullying’ in explosive Instagram

Alyssa Milano has apologized for asking for ‘someone [to] please go check on Britney Spears in a tweet last month – after the singer branded the post ‘bullying’ on Tuesday.

The Toxic hitmaker, 41 — who recently received a welfare check from the police sparked by calls from concerned fans — took to her Instagram to call out the Charmed star, 50, for her ‘bullying’.

‘It saddens me to see things about me from people who don’t know me!!! This definitely feels like a form of bullying!!!’ the singer wrote underneath a screenshot of the original Tweet.

‘Ladies, we are supposed to be rooting for one another not pulling one another down!!!’ Spears added.

Alyssa’s representative told TMZ the star ‘reached out to Britney privately’ on Wednesday – with the actress ‘expressing support’ for the singer in the message.

Oh dear: Alyssa Milano has apologized for asking for ‘someone [to] please go check on Britney Spears in a tweet last month – after the singer branded the post ‘bullying’ on Tuesday

It comes after the police were called to perform a welfare check on the pop diva earlier last week, after she shut down her Instagram page, sparking concerns from fans who contacted authorities to check on her well-being.

However on Tuesday she was back to being active on her account, as she shared a snap of her toned midriff in a busty brown crop top and plaid mini skirt.

‘I know these are screenshots but it’s the day I got my tattoo she wrote in the caption.

Spears recently said she’s doing fine after the welfare check: ‘I’m not having a breakdown … I am who I am and moving forward in my life, I have never felt better!!!’ the Grammy-winning singer said Sunday in a post on the account, which she has reinstated after deleting it.

The Till The World Ends performer said of the social media account, ‘Yes I took my Instagram down and now it’s backup because I can!!!’

Spears said she’s ‘not this girl or that girl’ but rather River Red, and happily freed from the constraints of the conservatorship her father presided over until 2021.

‘Being able to volumize my voice in a world where I lost my rights … for 15 years … gives me an opportunity to succeed !!!’ the Oops!… I Did It Again vocalist said.

The Womanizer songstress said she’s ‘still learning this no rules thing’ and feels ‘younger and in awe’ in her life.

‘Bullying!’: ‘This definitely feels like a form of bullying!!!’ the singer wrote underneath a screenshot of the original Tweet, which she shared via her Instagram Stories

Back on Instagram: The singer was back to posting on her Instagram, after reinstating her account following a recent welfare check stemming from worried fans contacting the authorities due to her deleted page

‘Unfortunately I’m boring as hell and drink hot chocolate at night!!!’ she said. ‘I’ve waited nearly 15 years to drink alcohol only to realize I hate it!!! It makes me sad and I feel bloated, although food tastes better.’

The singer spoke out after a source exclusively told DailyMail.com Friday that Spears is ‘staying positive and doing okay’ after a police welfare check left her ‘freaked out’ last week.

She’s doing okay,’ a source close to Spears tells DailyMail.com.

‘She’s navigating this new life, finishing her book. It’s a process but [she’s] getting there.’

‘The fans calling the cops freaked her out for sure but she’s staying positive.’

This comes after Britney hit back after the police visit in a Twitter post and stressed that police never ‘entered’ her house and stayed at her gate – but said the situation went ‘a little too far.’

Fans of the singer have lately expressed even more concern than usual after she was seen apparently having a ‘manic’ meltdown at a restaurant earlier this month with her husband Sam Asghari, 28.

‘As everyone knows the police were called to my home based on some prank phone calls,’ she began. ‘I love and adore my fans this time things went a little too far and my privacy was invaded.

She clarified that, ‘The police never entered my home,’ and they apparently left shortly after arriving at her gate after finding ‘no issue.’

But the run-in with law enforcement over the ‘prank phone calls’ still left her feeling accosted.

‘This felt like I was being gaslit and bullied once the incident made it to the news and being portrayed once again in a poor and unfair light by the media,’ she continued.

Spears seemed to urge her fans to take a more distanced, respectful approach to her as she concluded her statement.

‘During this time in my life, I truly hope the public and my fans who I care so much about can respect my privacy moving forward. All the love, B.’
