Benidorm actress Crissy Rock quarantined on cruise ship amid coronavirus fears

Benidorm star Crissy Rock has been quarantined on a cruise ship amid coronavirus fears.

The TV star, 61, is currently on her honeymoon aboard the Queen Mary 2, which she boarded in Dubai on New Year's Eve.

She was meant to be enjoying the luxury holiday to celebrate her 2018 wedding to Julian Buck but hasn't been able to leave the ship after it was banned from docking at multiple ports.

Crissy's rep told us that she has been "really worried" on the ship.

A spokesperson for Crissy told the Mirror: "We can confirm Crissy Rock is on the Queen Mary 2.

The cruise was expected to stop at Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Phuket in Thailand.

But the ship is now headed straight to Freemantle, Australia and passengers will not leave the ship until they get there on February 18.

Crissy is hoping to be back in the UK before February 21 for filming committments.

A statement from Cunard Cruises said: "We are working around the clock with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organisation (WHO) and Public Health England to implement control measures for our ships.

"Due to this, we've had to make changes (though we appreciate this is disappointing, but unfortunately vital) to the itinerary."

This week the UK government declared a serious and imminent threat to public health over coronavirus as four more cases were confirmed this morning – taking the UK total to eight.
