Billie Faiers ‘cried for half an hour’ and went into shock after bad fall during Dancing on Ice training

Billie Faiers reveals she "cried for half an hour" after suffering a bad fall during Dancing on Ice training.

Former TOWIE star Billie revealed that her body went into shock after she had the nasty fall while training with her partner Mark Hanretty.

The 30 year old cried for half an hour, but was soon cheered up when her family – husband Greg and children Nelly and Arthur – visited her at the rink.

Sharing a snap of her family on the ice while wearing skates, Billie wrote: “Look who come to visit me today.

“Before they all got to the ice rink I had my first bad fall on the ice … I can’t believe I actually cried for over half an hour.

“I think my body went into shock, I couldn’t stop crying and then I was laughing and then crying.

“anyway I’m totally fine … thank you @markhanretty for getting me through that one … I’m sure there will be many more.


“Seeing Nelly and Arthur’s little faces definitely cheered me up and @gregory_shep of course.”

Her skating partner Mark Hanretty praised her for continuing on after the fall as he wrote: “Really impressed by how you got back on the ice after that nasty fall! #excellentattitude #tough.”

Gemma Collins also showed her support for Billie as she wrote: “Aww lovely. you will love this experience my money is on you to win !!! X.”

Denise Van Outen wrote: “Lovely seeing the kids on the ice today.”

Billie has told OK! that she is worried she’ll pass out during the Dancing On Ice live shows.

She told us of training: “It’s hard, I’m not going to lie. I can’t actually believe I’m doing it still, because it’s so out of my comfort zone. I’ve never done a competition like this and I’ve never done anything on my own – I’ve always been with my sister [Sam Faiers]. I just thought, it’s an amazing opportunity and I’m learning a new skill.”

She continued: "The first part of my training I was being overly careful but I’ve pushed myself a bit more now. I fell over the other day – I’ve hurt my back and I’ve got a huge bruise on my leg, but it’s going to happen.

"I keep saying to my ice-skating partner, “I don’t know how I’m going to do this.” The live shows, I’m going to pass out – I’m going to be so nervous!"
