Britney Spears didn’t like the way she looked after embarking on a weight loss journey to match her boyfriend’s ‘hotter than hot’ body.

The Slave 4 U singer was inspired by her partner Sam Asghari’s buff physique to begin training harder and adopting a healthier diet.

However, the results turned out not to be what Britney was looking for.

Opening up about her body image, the singer wrote in an Instagram post: ‘In the past two weeks I’ve said that’s it … I have got to get in shape considering my boyfriend’s body is hotter than hot ??? !!!!

‘I was like s**t where the hell am I supposed to start ??? … so I run a lot and try to eat clean and be mindful with my food unless I cheat, like last night when I ate a container of peanuts ?????‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️ !!!!’

Revealing her reaction to her new body, Britney continued: ‘And then it hit me … I might look better but I felt too vulnerable in my skin being this small !!!! I didn’t like it so I started boxing so now I feel stronger too ??? !!!!

‘We all have our own ways to work on our bodies and I respect that cause we all should.’

She then joked that she hopes she doesn’t see an In n Out burger any time soon.

Britney, 39, and Sam, 27, prioritised their health in another way recently, by getting their coronavirus vaccines together.

Alongside a video of her holding her Covid vaccine certificate, the pop star wrote in the caption: ‘Got the Covid vaccine ?? …. Great success ? …. High-five ?? !!!!!! @samasghari.’

The couple have been dating since 2016 after meeting on-set of her Slumber Party music video, in which Sam makes an appearance.

Britney could be returning to the spotlight soon as reports claim she has filed a request to address the court directly in her conservatorship case.
