Cardi B is getting honest about parenting.
The 27-year-old rapper took to Instagram over the weekend to gush over the stressful bliss that is motherhood — and made a surprising revelation when one fan accused her of not having to watch her kid as much as the average parent!
It all started with a side-by-side image of the Grammy winner’s 15-month-old daughter Kulture Kiari, who was seen dressed-head-to-toe in Gucci looking happy in one photo and not-so-happy in the second.

The caption read:
“Mom life Look easy don’t it? But Booooyyyyy o booooyyyy ???♀️.”
Some fans weren’t impressed with Cardi’s parental post, though. One commenter told Offset’s wife parenting was “easy” for her because she has “babysitters for that baby.”
At least, that’s what one would assume. But Cardi dropped a truth bomb in response, writing:
“I actually don’t just me and my mom. Sooo when my mom do her own s**t ME … When I can finally find some1 trust worthy I’ll have one !”
Wow. Gurl must have a very thorough screening process!
The Hustlers actress first revealed she was raising her baby without hired help two weeks after giving birth to Kulture in July 2018. She said at the time:
“There’s this feeling that, as soon as my baby came out, that I have that is just like … I can’t leave my baby at night, not for one second… A lot of people keep telling me, ‘You need to find a nanny because you gotta start working soon,’ and it’s so hard because I want to be with my baby every second… I don’t feel like nobody could tend my baby like me.”
Cardi’s desire to be a dedicated parent could be attributed to the household she grew up in — which, according to the star, was a lot “stricter” than some fans might imagine.

The Bodak Yellow rapper opened up more about her childhood on the social platform after fans questioned the quality of her parents’ care in response to an old photo she posted of herself smoking a cig at age 15. Explaining how her rebellious nature doesn’t mean she didn’t have strict parents, the songstress wrote:
“I couldn’t even go to the movie theaters with my friends or nothing. Every day it was a challenge taking my piercings off.”
She added in the caption of the since-deleted post:
“I always told my stories tho so don’t let pictures with piercings fool ya. Anyways KIDS there’s a difference between ABUSE and being STRICT.My parents were very strict and I’m thankful. Being strict it’s a form of love and protection. Girls around my age were growing too fast and I though I could fool my momma but boy o boy she be knowing.”
Sounds like Cardi will be knowing just like her momma when the time comes!
