Prog rock band Coheed and Cambria have returned with a heavy new singled called “Shoulders,” the band’s first solo release in almost three years.
Fans can expect more songs going forward as frontman Claudio Sanchez has hinted about a 10th studio album later this year or next. A new album would be a follow up to 2018’s Vaxis – Act I: The Unheavenly Creatures.
“After making music for so long and entering a pandemic, we didn’t want limitations to the creative process,” Sanchez told Heavy Consequence. The next LP “is going to be what I hope people perceive this band to be in 2021/2022.”
The band is set to embark on a co-headlining tour with The Used, starting August 27 at FivePoint Amphitheatre in Los Angeles.
