Countryfile’s Julia Bradbury says she walks around naked at home – after nude photoshoot

The former Countryfile presenter turns 49 in just a few days but for Julia Bradbury, age is just a number.

Last year the TV host posed naked, lying on top of 750 artfully arranged plastic bottles, to promote the need to recycle – a passion of hers.

And the stunning brunette has now revealed that she’s comfortable in her own skin and very “happy to be naked” at home with her partner Gerard Cunningham.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror, she explained: “We are very open about that. I think you need a healthy attitude towards nudity.

“My kids were proud of the image – they saw it. It doesn’t mean anything to them as they see me walking around naked all the time.”

She continued: “It’s not something that bothers me. You see almost naked people on the beach. Clearly, I wasn’t doing it from a sex bomb point of view.

“It’s about a subject I’m passionate about, and I don’t care really. I’ve got to this age, and it did make noise.

“I stand by that picture. The point is people were talking about it.”

Julia – who is mum to three children, Zephyrus, seven, and four-year-old twin girls Xanthe and Zena – said her kids aren’t concerned with her flesh-flashing antics.

She added: “They are far too young now to be talking about body image, but it does key into that in these early stages, and the ‘What are the differences between boys and girls and men and women?’.”

Last year, the stunner revealed that pole dancing kept her in shape, telling Lorraine Kelly: “I got a pole last year, it’s one of those expandable ones which you can put up anywhere in the house.

“It’s amazing exercise, and very, very difficult to master.”

Julia announced her departure from the Countryfile lineup in 2014 and most recently fronted her own ITV series, Australia with Julia Bradbury.

The nature enthusiast also explored some of the UK’s unexplained occurrences in Mystery Map alongside Good Morning Britain favourite Ben Shephard.
