Another little meatball is on its way. Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and his wife Lauren Sorrentino are expecting their first child, they announced on Nov. 24.
“We have a Baby Situation,” the Jersey Shore Family Vacation star wrote on his Instagram.
“Our biggest blessing is on it’s way,” Lauren wrote in her own Instagram update.
The Sorrentinos aren’t the only members of the Jersey Shore family who will soon be welcoming a baby. In late October, Deena Cortese announced that she was pregnant with her second child. Now that her friend’s big news is out in the open, Deena is making it clear she couldn’t be more excited to be pregnant at the same time as Lauren.

When Lauren and Mike shared their happy news on social media, other members of the Jersey Shore cast were quick to offer their congratulations. That included Deena, who shared her thoughts on Lauren’s post.
“Soooo excited for you guys!!! You deserve all the happiness in the world! Pregnancy buddies,” she wrote.
Deena and Lauren are both due in May 2021
Deena’s baby is due May 1, 2021, she revealed in an Oct. 25 tweet. She and her husband Christopher Buckner also have a son, CJ, who was born in January 2019.
Lauren and Mike haven’t announced her specific due date, but did say their baby will arrive in May 2021.
Jersey Shore fans were all about the two women being pregnant at the same time. “Maybe you and @lauren_sorrentino will be in labor at the same time,” one wrote on Lauren’s post. Another commented that it “would be funny if you and Lauren gave birth the same day.”
‘Jersey Shore’: The next generation
While Sorrentino and his housemates — including Cortese, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Vinny Guadagnino, Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio — rose to fame because of their wild antics and non-stop partying on Jersey Shore, the group has settled down considerably in recent years. Many members of the original cast have gotten married and started families of their own, trading nights on the boardwalk for evenings in with the kids.
Polizzi was the first Jersey Shore alum to take the leap into parenthood. She gave birth to her first child, a boy named Lorenzo, in 2012. She and husband Jionni LaValle have since had two more kids. Polizzi’s partner in crime, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, has two kids, a daughter born in 2014 and a boy born in 2016.
Ortiz-Magro and his ex-girlfriend Jen Harley have a daughter named Ariana who was born in 2018. DelVecchio has a daughter who was born in 2013.
Now, the Sorrentinos are set to become the latest set of Jersey Shore parents, something they’ve been hoping to do for a while. After The Situation was released from prison in 2019, where he serving eight months for tax evasion, the couple shared that they hoped to start a family soon. In a statement, the pair said they were “look[ing] forward to continuing our life as husband and wife and working on baby situations!”
