Fans of EastEnders have been begging for longtime actress Letitia Dean's diet secrets, after the star dropped four dress sizes in the same amount of months.
Letitia, 55, has has been looking noticeably slimmer on the show, where she plays Sharon Watts, of late, as she displays the results of a diet and fitness overhaul.
After noticing her slim figure, fans flooded Twitter to comment on her new look as they begged her to share the secrets to her weight loss.
One of the show's viewers wrote on Twitter: "I'm so intrigued, I need Sharon's (EastEnders) weight loss secret. She looks amazing!"
Another tweeted: "Need to go on the Letitia Dean diet. She looks amazing," whilst a third said: "Letitia Dean has lost so much weight she looks amazing. Massive well done to her," and a fourth added: "Hats off to Sharon losing so much weight #EastEnders".
Letitia is thought to now weigh 8st 3lb, after dropping from 10st 4lb, which she weighed in the latter part of last year.
The star – who has appeared on the show on and off since 1985 – has previously spoken about cruel comments that trolls have made about her weight over the years.
In 2020, whilst appearing on EastEnders' spin-off show Secrets from the Square, Letitia said: "I had quite a lot of horrible things said about me: 'She's too fat, the other actors complain they can't fit on the same set with her.'"
During her six year break from EastEnders from 2006 to 2012, Letitia enlisted the help of the personal trainer used by her co-stars Charlie Brooks and Natalie Cassidy, and in 2008, she released a fitness DVD, named Letitia Dean's Lean Routine.
The star sported some minuscule gym outfits on the front cover of the DVD, which included a snap of her at a dress size 16 and then at a six 6 after her transformation.
Speaking to the Daily Record in 2009, Letitia said: "I'd go on fad diets like Atkins or I'd only eat eggs. The effect was great, even if my breath did smell foul.
"I'd lose a stone in a couple of weeks, but gradually I'd slip back into my old ways and put it all on again."
Letitia's character, Sharon Watts, made her entrance to the soap on its very first episode in 1985, as the daughter of "Dirty" Den (Leslie Grantham) and Angie Watts (Anita Dobson).
She played the character until 1995, before later reprising the role of Sharon from 2001 to 2006, before another hiatus until her return in 2012.
Sharon is one of the best-loved characters on the soap, with plenty of dramatic storylines over the years.
