Fancy a Greggs Beyonce? Store makes cheeky offer to win star from Nandos

Greggs is eager to win overBeyoncéwith their pastries and baked goods, following her endorsement of another renowned British establishment.

The Single Ladies singer, 41, has arrived in the UK for her tour, wowing fans in Cardiff, Edinburgh, and Sunderland so far with her show-stopping performances.

Making headlines recently, she generously treated her team to a staggering£2,000 order from Nando's.

According to a receipt – which has been shared widely across Twitter – the takeaway order was simply placed under the name of ‘Beyonce' and consisted of 50 sunset burgers, 30 fino pittas, 30 butterfly burgers, 60 chicken pittas, 20 beanie burgers, and 10 chicken wings. Now, Greggs is hopeful that their savory delicacies will captivate her taste buds as well.

The social media team shared a photoshopped screenshot of Beyonce’s Instagram bio, where they added her location as "Greggs, Sunderland UK", and asked: "What can we get for you, @Beyonce?"

Fans continued the joke in the comments, with one writing: “Hey @beyonce ‘Run the World’ like you run to Greggs for a cinnamon bun! Every bite is like a ‘Love on Top’ of flavour that could get you ‘Feeling Yourself’.”

Another commented: “Baby it’s CHOUX! Choux’re the one I want… “

A third added: “One thing about Greggs! Y’all are marketing geniuses.”

One person admitted she had to check if this was Beyonce's actual bio.

The star alsotreated entourage to an Indian takeawayfrom Tyne and Wear's Bombay Barn. The meal receipt, which was shared by the restaurant on Facebook, shows that the Single Ladies singer ordered a curry tapas box – which included chicken massala, lamb curry, chicken bhuna, a vegetable bhaji, pilau rice and Indian chunky chips.

The tapas box, which cost £24.99, was ordered alongside a 12-inch smashed burger pizza for £16.47, which was upgraded to stuffed crust for £2.50.

Sharing a snap of the receipt to their Facebook page, Bombay Barn shared their excitement at their A-list clientele.

They wrote: "Nothing to see here, just a takeaway order for BEYONCÉS crew, with delivery backstage at her gig at The Stadium of Light!"

Fans of the takeaway were quick to comment on the post, with one writing: "They've ordered from the right place," while a second added: "That's fantastic for you and for them. Best food around."

The star, 41, isplaying 57 shows all around the worldbetween May and September 2023 and, despite the tour having only just begun, it's already breaking records.

After announcing her tour, Beyoncé became the first female star ever to sell out the Bank of America stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina and is the first person ever to sell out five nights in a row at London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The whole tour is projected to make around £1.9billion in total, and is set to leave the Break My Soul singer considerably wealthier.
