Gemma Collins leaves everyone doing double takes with slick new hairdo

Gemma Collins has got everyone doing double takes with her new hairdo.

The TOWIE star oozed elegance and glamour before she headed out with The Real Housewives of Cheshire star Dawn Ward.

The GC recently showed off her fresh bob as she opted to change up her trademark bouncy hairstyle.

First Gemma unveiled her dramatic transformation on Thursday, taking to social media with a snap of herself but without hair spilling over her shoulders.

Then the bubbly television personality took her stylish looks to the Clogau Jewellery Launch Party at the Chester Racecourse.

The new bob was an instant hit with fans – as was her podcast, now in its second season.

At the BBC Sounds new season launch, she told fans what they could expect from their second round of the GC on the airwaves.

While chatting about what's to come, Gemma made the sensational claim that she even has fans from beyond the grave.

"One of the listeners," Gemma began, "While she was listening to my podcast about me saying how houses have feelings and spiritual activity, her light went on in her child's bedroom.

"She ran in there but the child wasn't up. It was really spooky!

"I was like, 'Oh my God, even the spirits listen to my podcast!'"

She added: "It's all kind of weird and wonderful and a bit abstract. It's fabulous!

"That's one way to sum up my podcast. Life is pretty tough sometimes, but you can put on my podcast and have a laugh."

Gemma continued: "You get a bit more me. Obviously, there's the GC. Then there's me and my views.

"It's not TOWIE-esque. A lot of people know me from there, but that was 10 years ago. I know we'd all love to be where we were 10 year ago, but I have grown up.

"It's really weird because when you're in constructed reality, people expect you to be that person all the time. I've always been very opinionated on TOWIE and not on TOWIE, but I'm 10 years older.

"I have different views, I have different outlooks on life. You can't always convey that in a 10 minute slot on TV. It's why it's been so nice just to chill and chat, make that cup of tea, and get my points across."
