Gemma Collins updates fans after mums hospital dash and a scary few days

Gemma Collinshas issued an update on her mum after she wasrushed to hospital.

Posting a picture of her mum Joan, 67, who can be seen with a breathing tube, and her nephew Hayden, she wrote: “My beautiful Hayden come to see his Nanny [pink heart emoji] mum should be back home in a few days with us and thank you for all your kind messages [pink heart emoji] it sure is scary when your parents get older [pink heart emoji] THANK YOU to everyone at Queens Hospital Romford for all your help [pink heart emoji]”.

Fans and celebrities took to the comments to send the formerThe Only Way is Essexstar’s mum well.

One fan wrote: “Thinking of you all and sending all the positive get well soon energy your way Joan! Xx”.

Another said: “Get well soon Mumma Collins x [red heart emoji]”.

Loose Women’s Coleen Nolan penned: Thinking of you all and sending a big virtual hug [red heart emoji]”.

Gemma’s fellow TOWIE co-star Chloe Sims also commented with three red heart emojis.

On Wednesday, 2 August, she shared a picture of her mum smiling and thanked the Essex hospital where her mum was being treated.

She wrote: “Love your parents as hard as you can [red heart emoji] thank you to everyone looking after mum @joancollins1 [red heart emoji] at QUEENS HOSPITAL ROMFORD”.

Fans again sent their best wishes.

One person wrote: “Oh wishing your lively mum a speedy recovery hun big hug xxx”

Another said: “sending my love to joan [red heart emoji]”.

A third penned: “Hope she’s OK. Sending love [red heart emoji]”.

On her Instagram Stories yesterday, she shared a photo of her dad, Alan, seemingly asleep in a chair and wrote: “My dad [is a] proper gentleman has not left my mums side [red heart emoji]” before sharing a photo of her parents sharing a sweet peck on the lips.

She also shared a snap of her nephew and dad having a hug and called Hayden a “grandads boy.”

This heartache follows her stunning bikini snap on Instagram while on holiday where she wrote of her upset atnot being able to get pregnant .

In the caption, she wrote: “With an underactive thyroid and PCOS, every day is a constant struggle but do you know what, F IT.”

Her words were accompanied by the hashtag “can’t get pregnant due to PCOS”.
