Im A Celeb winner Jill Scott reveals which Lioness wants to follow her footsteps into jungle

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! winner Jill Scott has shared which Lioness she thinks would be ideal to follow her footsteps into the jungle.

The former England footballer, 36, was crowned Queen of the Jungle on last year’s series and has been sharing her thoughts on which of her teammates would do well on the reality show.

Many of Jill’s former teammates are currently competing in the Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand – and Jill tipped Beth England and Georgia Stanway as being her picks for future I’m A Celeb material.

The footballer said: “Beth England wants to do it. She really wants to do it. She would be good.”

She also added: “I also think Georgia Stanway would be good in there – she would give her all. I’m putting those two forward.”

Jill was crowned winner of the 2022 show after beating campmates such asCharlene White,Seann Walsh,Owen Warner andMatt Hancock to the top prize.

She also explained how her sporting background helped her to the win, as she tapped into the same team mentality she uses on the pitch.

She told the Reign podcast: “I never thought I’d be equipped to live in a jungle.

"But tapping into that sports mentality . . . I remember getting in there and I counted 11 of us.

"I was like, right, this is a team of 11, where have you heard that before?

“This is my team, look after them. Our aim is not to get a medal, it’s to get food. If you can help in any way, do.

“Work hard, do the right things – that’s what sport teaches you.”

Although Jill no longer plays football professionally these days, since leaving the I’m a Celeb jungle she has continued to share her insight and expertise with fans and players as both a World Cup pundit and coach-in-training.

She has also returned to work at the coffee shop she owns in Manchester with partner Shelly Unitt.

The couple got engaged just before Covid, but had to put their wedding plans on hold.

However, Jill opened up on their wedding planning shortly after her I’m A Celeb win and said it was next on their to-do list.

"We got engaged two years ago and Covid hit us, so I think we do need to get some planning in place. It will be nice," she told the Daily Mail.

"We need to sit down and just catch up on the last five weeks and what's happened, but obviously getting engaged, the next plan is to get wed."
