Jennifer Lopez celebrated not one but two milestones this weekend. The singer and actress turned 53 on Sunday, July 24, while enjoying a Parisian honeymoon with new husband Ben Affleck.
To mark her birthday, the Marry Me star shared a video on Instagram. Promoting her new JLo Body by JLo Beauty products, including her firming Booty Balm, the clip shows Lopez posing nude, and then wearing a sexy black swimsuit with cutouts.
“‘Beauty has no expiration date’ was always my personal mantra because I’m in a business where youth is glorified and people try to write, especially women, off at a certain time,” she told People. “It’s like, ‘Oh, you’re done, no more movies for you. We don’t want your music anymore.’ Growing up, I looked up to people like Diana Ross and Cher and Tina Turner, and they were in their 50s and they were beautiful and almost coming into their own at that time.”
Lopez also said that age doesn’t mean much to her, and she wishes people would stop focusing on it.
“I believe you can look and feel amazing and sexy at any age. I really dislike the phrase, ‘You look good for 40, or you look good for 30, you look good for 50.’ How about you just ‘you look good?'” she said.

Newly married Lopez further told the outlet that her husband—whom she initially dated and was engaged to almost two decades ago—makes her feel beautiful by loving the real her.
“He is like, ‘I like you when you have nothing on. No hair on, no makeup on, just you in your own skin,'” she said. “He really appreciates that. And that makes me feel really confident and beautiful. Someone can see the essence of who you are and just the skin that you’re in and that I take care of that and that he appreciates that. That makes me feel really beautiful too.”
The two are currently enjoying a European getaway with their kids following their surprise Las Vegas nuptials and have been seen showing their love on romantic date nights and walks about Paris.
For Lopez’s birthday, they spent some time at the Louvre Museum, went out to lunch, and did some shopping.
“I am the age I am, but I feel amazing and happier than ever. I feel like I’m just at my halftime right now and just getting started,” Lopez said.
