Jennifer Aydin of ‘RHONJ’ reveals coronavirus diagnosis

Jennifer Aydin says she tested positive for coronavirus this week via a test her doctor husband brought home for her.

The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star — who has been “quarantining in her room” and “staying away” from her five children — said her symptoms started last week, when she felt “extreme fatigue,” but “no fever.” So she she asked her husband Bill, a plastic surgeon, to bring home a test, which he did, she said.

“He was reluctant at first because I didn’t have the normal symptoms like a fever or heavy cough,” Aydin explained. “So by day two, or three I think it was … I insisted he bring home a test.”

She said that he administered the test and she received her positive results on Monday.

Symptoms of coronavirus can include fever, cough and shortness of breath, according to the Centers for Disease Control, and could appear 2-14 days after exposure.

Aydin said she’s “doing better now.”

“There were a few rough days, where I was just extremely tired, and sleeping a lot,” she said. “I had this very dense headache and extreme night sweats. I lost my sense of taste and smell.”

In response to her video, fellow “Housewives” sent Aydin well wishes, including “RHONY” star Luann de Lesseps and Monique Samuels of “Real Housewives of Potomac.”
