Jess Wright has revealed her psoriasis is getting “worse by the month” as she shared a photo with her 1.4million Instagram followers on Wednesday evening.

Taking to her Stories, Jess, 35, who has been grieving the sad loss of her Uncle Eddie after he lost his battle to Covid-19 last month, posted a photo of herself in bed and held up her arm to show her skin condition.

“It just seems to be getting worse by the month,” the former TOWIE star wrote alongside a sad face emoji. “And that’s with a filter on… f*** you psoriasis. And f*** you 2020/21.”

Psoriasis is a condition that causes red and crusty patches of skin.

Jess has previously opened up about suffering with it, admitting she was embracing her skin in a glamorous selfie.

The younger sister of Mark Wright admitted she thought about editing the snap after a flare up on her arm, but decided to leave it.

Taking to Instagram last month for the snap, Jess looked stunning in a black bralette.

She wrote alongside the snap: “Pinch punch… #springiscoming.

“Yes that’s psoriasis on my arm that I thought about smoothing out but decided against it,” alongside an upside down smiley emoji.

Jess has also admitted she feared the skin condition could ruin her wedding day as she prepares to tie the knot with fiancé William Lee-Kemp.

In a candid video shared on Instagram Stories back in January, Jess opened up how she is undergoing treatment to help her psoriasis.

She revealed she’s going through a treatment called PUVA, and explained: “It’s prescribed through my doctor and you can get it on the NHS or you can do it privately.

“It’s like a light therapy basically and you have to go for sessions every so often."

Adding that she is hoping the treatment helps ahead of her big day, she said: "If I get married this year, I don't want to be conscious of it all the time."

Jess was set to tie the knot in June and had planned to have a big family wedding in Majorca, but she may be forced to delay her upcoming nuptials as a result of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

She told Entertainment Daily: "We have had to consider every single option of course so it has definitely been upsetting thinking we may have to cancel or postpone.

"However, we are remaining to keep the faith and hope it goes ahead."
