Joe Wicks breaks a bone in his hand after falling off his bike

Joe Wicks’ amazing exercise video series is helping inspire the nation to stay fit and healthy during coronavirus-induced self-isolation this week.

And it appears he’s been working his butt off despite a broken bone in his hand!

The fitness guru revealed his nasty-looking injury on social media earlier today.

Taking to his Instagram Stories, the 34-year-old revealed he hurt himself after falling off his bike, although he didn’t disclose when the incident took place.

‘If you’re wondering why I’ve got a black wrist support on,’ he wrote, ‘I fell off my bike.’

He then added: ‘Broke a bone in my hand.

‘Having a wire put in here tomorrow.’

If he’s in pain, he hasn’t been showing it as the star has been his usual sunny self while sharing his daily fitness videos online.

You can tune into his ‘P.E. WITH JOE’ lesson on his official YouTube channel at 9am tomorrow morning. (We assume he’ll be getting his hand sorted out afterwards…)

The dad-of-two’s videos have amassed millions of views this week with the Monday 23rd March 2020 installment (which you can watch above) currently standing at 4.9 million.

Speaking to the Guardian about the reception to the series, Joe said: ‘On day No 1, we had 806,000 households streaming it. Today it was 954,000 livestreams.

‘It’s just growing, I’m over the moon. I feel quite overwhelmed by it.’

National treasure status surely awaits!

Wishing you a speedy recovery tomorrow, Joe.
