Katie Price’s teams up with X Factor star for highly-anticipated comeback single

Katie Price is determined to come back with a bang in 2023, and after we exclusively revealed she has signed a huge panto deal, the TV star is returning to her singing with a new single.

Katie, 44, is releasing new music and dueting with 2018 X Factor runner-up Scarlett Lee after the pair spent 14 hours in the studio this week.

Scarlett, 25, filmed a day in the life of her and Katie working together, as she teased on TikTok: “With my beautiful girl Katie, I am so excited to do this today.

"We went over the song and just made sure everything was fine. We went over the lyrics, went over the melody to make sure it fits for both of us. And let me tell you, I cannot wait for you to hear what we've been working on."

She then shared a clip of Katie singing into the microphone as she shared: "This was Katie hitting the note, and let me tell you, it was like England was scoring. I was so happy and so so proud."

Her caption read: "Welcome to a day in the life of a singer-songwriter with me @katieprice and @thecave studios! Can't wait for you to hear this we are so excited."

It's no surprise Katie is returning to her singing career as a source previously told us "Katie loves to sing and perform" as the star has now secured a £60,000 panto deal.

The source said: "Katie has decided she wants to focus on her career this year. She wants to make this year one of the best ever.

“She has a range of new projects and businesses that she’s working on, and she’s got an accessories business in the pipeline, too. But she’s most excited about landing a massive role in a pantomime.”

Our source continued: “Katie loves to sing and perform, and panto is something she’s always been a fan of, so this is a dream come true. Katie’s pantomime deal is worth around £60,000, so she’s super happy about that, too!”

Katie last performed on stage when she played the role of the Wicked Fairy in Sleeping Beauty in 2015.

And the mum of five hinted at her desire to return to the stage, sharing on Instagram Stories in December: "Omg I would so do panto again.”

It comes after Katie previously told OK! she had plans for a career comeback in 2020, admitting she wanted to “make my empire bigger than it’s ever been”.

Katie is clearly putting herself and her family first after her split from fiancé Carl Woods.

Writing on Instagram Stories, Katie revealed she was “flattered” by the amount of DMs she’s received from men since her split.

But she said: “I’m not replying or getting into any conversation because I want to focus on my work, children, family and myself.”

Carl announced they were splitting in November as he claimed Katie admitted she had “cheated” on him and “slept with somebody else”.
