Kim Kardashian shares ‘unusual coronavirus greeting’ and scary prediction

Kim Kardashian has shared a new, unorthodox method of greeting friends and family during the coronavirus outbreak.

The 39-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star posted a video on her Instagram story of her friend and family doctor putting their best foot forward in ensuring the virus doesn’t spread.

While handshakes have been ruled out and even elbow bumps are thought to be too close to call in avoiding sharing Covid-19, the pair showed a clean pair of heels as they balanced on one leg and tapped each other’s feet.

It looked a little ungainly, especially for those that might find the balancing requirement a little too difficult but the reality star is promoting this as she ramps up her vigilance against the virus.

The KUWTK star was seemingly at her sister Khloe’s house as the doctor and friend demonstrated how washing hands is a great prevention.

Kim though wanted to sanitise everything after Khloe had a coughing fit and was ‘touching surfaces’.

With Kim ready to show off her new greeting, the doctor and friend got in on the act first, tapping their shoes diagonally, like you would do when shaking hands.

Kim is a busy mum-of-four and had no time for such extravagance, so said: “I don't have time for two! So I'll just do one.”

She continued: “So you should not do elbows, because you cough into your elbow. So no more elbows!

“Or just do a little bow,' Kim added as the pair performed a namaste greeting, which is a small bow while holding your hands pressed together.

The new greeting is being proposed by Kim after Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the World Health Organisation’s Director-General, said last week that close greeting should be avoided.

He posted on Twitter : “ When greeting people, best to avoid elbow bumps because they put you within 1 meter of the other person. I like to put my hand on my heart when I greet people these days.”

The obvious flaw in Kim’s new way forward is that it might still fall foul of the edict to keep a recommended one metre distance from potentially ‘contaminated people’.

Kim is also taking extra precautions when being handed an object by someone else, and is using anti-bacterial wipes.

She revealed: “So this is the new jam of what I'm doing ever time someone hands me something.

‘”I’ll wipe it down. I saw her cough, and I'm not down for that”

With that, Kim wiped every side of the cardboard box until she was satisfied that it could be disease free,

The KKW beauty mogul later shared a passage in a book written by psychic Sylvia Brown in 2008, which has proved to be rather prophetic.

Kim took to Twitter to share her words after having her attention brought to it by her elder sister, Kourtney,

The eerily accurate words read: “In around 2020 a severe pneumonia-like illness will spread throughout the globe, attacking the lungs and the bronchial tubes and resisting all known treatments.

“Almost more baffling that the illness itself will be the fact that it will suddenly vanish as quickly as it arrived, attack again ten years later, and then disappear completely.”
