Kimberley Walsh said Cheryl balled her eyes out after Nadine Coyle Whatsapp group claim.
Girls Aloud rift rumours have been circulating once again when Nadine headed into the I'm A Celeb jungle in recent weeks.
It was claimed former bandmates Kimberley, Nicola Roberts and Cheryl were exchanging messages on a Whatsapp group to vote for Nadine to do the grisly trials.
The Girls Aloud trio have vehemently denied the claims.
Kimberley spat Cheryl "absolutely cried her eyes out" when the Whatsapp group rumours were talked about.
The singer pointed out she hated the negativity surrounding the girl group rift rumours; she was having the heated discussion with Jane Moore, Saira Khan, Coleen Nolan and Ruth Langsford.
She said: "How awful though! No but it's completely untrue. It surprised me and Cheryl.
"She text me saying 'I'm absolutely crying my eyes out'. I don't like the negativity. I'm impressed [with Nadine]. She's doing so great!"
Although she rubbished the venom-laden Whatsapp group claims, Kimberley threw some shade at Nadine.
The blonde bombshell gushed about her "true genuine" friendship with Cheryl and Nicola.
Digging the knife in deeper, the songstress ruled her friendship with Nadine was strictly professional.
"Yeah [I was more friendly with Cheryl and Nicola]. It is true genuine real connection between us three.
"With Sarah and Nadine, it was more of a work relationship but it's like family you'd feel for them. You don't see them all the time.
"It surprised me how much i do care… I'm a real girls' girl."
Nadine hasn't been shy about coming forward about how isolated she felt when Cheryl, Nicola and Kimberley became BFFs.
