Shanna Moakler, 48, the ex-wife and mother of Travis’ three children hit out at the Blink-182 drummer’s relationship in a recent podcast.
She branded Kourtney Kardashian, 44, and her former beau’s romance “disgusting”, admitting she looks forward to the day she doesn’t have to speak to Travis again.
Kourtney, who celebrated her birthday this week, took to Instagram to share a cryptic post, shading the “negativity” she has seen in recent weeks.
She posted a Bible verse, titled Giving to the Needy, as she went on to urge her 218 million Instagram followers to “spread love and positivity”.
Kourtney penned: “So much criticism and hate and negativity lately.
“Let’s do better if not for the world, for yourself, for your children, for your friends and family. I promise the negativity and hate will not make you feel happier.
“I know the positive far outweighs the negative but it’s still hard not to be aware of it and it feels like every little action is criticised.
“Imagine the good we could do with that energy. Thoughts for the day.”
Kourtney’s comment comes after Shanna, who was married to Travis from 2004 to 2008, hit out at the happy couple on the podcast Miss Understood with Rachel Uchitel.
Shanna shared how “bullied” she was when the drummer’s new relationship began after she was targeted by online trolls.
She explained: “If I made any statement whatsoever I was just called bitter and jealous. I don’t even know Travis Barker anymore.
“We haven’t been together since almost 2010-12 and I don’t even know him. I don’t know what his favourite movie is, I don’t know what his favourite food or colour is.
“We’re not together [and] I have been in my own relationships.
“We only have our 17-year-old, who will be 18 this year, and then our work is done here and we never have to see or talk to each other ever again and I look forward to that day.”

When discussing Kourtney and Travis as a couple, Shanna admitted that the “whole thing is so f*****g weird”.
She explained: “I really don’t have anything positive to say about it. It’s not because I’m bitter and I’m definitely not jealous.
“I think things that have been said and things that have been done are absolutely disgusting.
“I wish them nothing but the best and as long as they’re good to my kids, that’s all I care about. But I think the whole thing is really weird.”
This was not the last time Shanna commented on her ex’s relationship, as she took to Instagram to respond to fan comments.
Last week, a fan commented under a selfie the former Miss USA contestant posted, reading: “I hope that you get a huge apology someday for what was said on that exploitative, money-grabbing, circus.”
Shanna liked the message and replied: “She posts more of my kids than her own lol.”
The former Playmate shares two biological kids, Landon, 19, and Alabama, 17, with Travis, whom she was married to from 2004 to 2008.
The Blink-182 drummer also has a close bond with his ex’s first child, Atiana De La Hoya, whose biological father is boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya.
Meanwhile, Kourtney also has three children from her relationship with Scott Disick: Mason, 13, Penelope, 10, and Reign, eight.
