Four in a Bed: Phil refuses to take payment from Lorraine and Kate
After staying at each other’s hotels and guest houses, the Four in a Bed stars sat down together to discuss the scores they received about their businesses. Each guest also shared how much they would have paid for their stay.
However, some of the scores and criticism didn’t go down well with some of the hotel owners.
Ash and Rosie, who own The Lazy Pug were up first, and while they took some of the feedback on the chin, they did disagree with most of it.
Lorraine and Kate who run The Crofts Hotel in Cardiff also felt hard done by after receiving a huge underpayment of £69.50.
However, when it was Phil’s turn to question his co-star’s payments and scores, things took an unexpected turn.
Phil received an underpayment from all three of his guests, although, it was Lorraine’s underpayment of £31.75 that angered him.
Phil, who runs a glamping sight called The Pretty Thing, branded Lorraine’s payment as “insulting”.
Before sharing their payments, Phil told Lorraine and Kate he was “offended” by the feedback of his facilities.
Kate hit back: “I don’t mean to offend you, Phil but it wasn’t what we were expecting.”
Lorraine said about their underpayment of £31.75: We didn’t feel it was value for money and the breakfast was chaotic.”

“I think you’ve misunderstood what it’s all about and I think the payment is quite insulting.”
Phil began to put Lorraine and Kate’s money back in the envelop to give back to them to “spend on a hotel room”.
“Sorry you feel that way, Phil,” Kate told him before Phil said afterwards: “I refused their payment because I am proud of the products and I am proud of what we offer.”
Fans also took to Twitter in droves to share their thoughts on Lorraine’s feedback.

“Oh, dear. Lorraine is a tad delusional. Soulless, pokey rooms. Animals all over the breakfast tables. Premier Inn prob cheaper & more spacious. Reality check, love,” @AlwaysHH commented.
