Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott are still holding on to the love between them amid reports of their recent split.
As we wrote, the couple called it quits a few weeks ago after trying to mend their two-year relationship. TMZ was the first to report the news.
On Wednesday, an Us Weekly source insisted we shouldn’t rule out a reconciliation between the two because this isn’t the first time Stormi Webster‘s parents have taken a break from each other:
“Kylie and Travis have been on and off at various times throughout their relationship. Kylie still loves Travis and this isn’t considered a full breakup to either of them.”
With that being said, a second insider told the outlet the pair didn’t have a “traditional” relationship to begin with. They explained:
“They have had breaks throughout their relationship. He been spending a lot time at his Beverly Hills house and she’s been staying in Calabasas, so they didn’t have a traditional relationship in terms of spending the night together every night. This is not a traditional relationship, but they have been very much in love.”
We’re glad to hear love is still alive between Kylie and Travis!
When and if they’ll officially get back together is still up in the air, but it appears the makeup mogul and musician are keeping things amicable on social media in the meantime!
Sure, the Astroworld rapper has been noticeably absent from Ky’s Instagram feed lately. However, it appears the parents-of-one are still following each other on the platform. See (below):
Okay. This is a pretty good sign if you ask us! We all know what it means when a significant other begins to scrub every trace of their partner that ever existed online… (Hint: couples rarely bounce back from that!)
The KUWTK star and Grammy-nominated artist both still have pictures up together (for now), including their recent joint teasers for Kylie’s nude spread in Playboy.
Despite the ongoing changes in their romantic dynamic, the 28-year-old performer and Life of Kylie star’s one-year-old daughter continues to be their number one priority.
Another source close to the pair told Us they have already discussed the next steps in regards to sharing custody of Stormi in the wake of their split:
“It will be 50/50, but it’s not a point of contention. It’s really whatever is best for Stormi. Travis knows what an incredible mom Kylie is and will make whatever situation work.”
The confidant continued:
“Travis still has a lot of love for Kylie and respects her as a mom. He will be very involved in Stormi’s life.”
Keep in mind, these two aren’t married so this eliminates a ton of legal paperwork that would normally be involved in cases like this. Also, we can assume money won’t be an issue since the self-made billionaire and her baby daddy are obviously loaded.
But we sure hope those initial sources are on the money about this all being temporary and the duo can find a way to work things out in the end!
The twosome — who first began publicly dating in 2017 — were last seen together in August at the premiere of the rapper’s Netflix documentary, Look Mom, I Can Fly.
Scott was also noticeably absent from Justin and Hailey Bieber‘s South Carolina wedding where the Kylie Cosmetics founder went with her daughter, sister Kendall Jenner, and mom Kris Jenner.
Although Jenner was spotted partying with rumored ex Jaden Smith, TMZ said the two are just friends and have been for several years.
