Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall insists band will last as they’re ‘family’ amid split rumours

Jade Thirlwall has assured fans Little Mix will never fall apart because of feuds as she insisted they're "family".

The 27 year old, who recently posted the hilarious inspiration behind her stunning glitter smash make-up look, explained that she and the other members, including Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 29, Jesy Nelson, 29, and 27 year old Perrie Edwards, will always be equals.

She credited this fact as to how they've last for 10 years as a girl band, despite Jesy confirming she's taking an extended breakdue to private medical reasons.

The stunning star said: “We said from the get-go we’d remain equal, even when other people might tell us otherwise. That’s one of the reasons we’ve lasted.

“We’ve always been about lifting each other up – I think that translates.

"People aren’t stupid, they can tell when you’re on stage if you aren’t getting along."

The Break Up Song hitmaker, who posted a cryptic quote about "pain" before Jesy announced her break, added to MirrorOnline: “Maybe that’s why people have warmed to us for nearly 10 years. We’re family now.”

While Jade is sure the band will last beyond this difficult period, the singer recently hinted at plans to become a TV presenter following rumours they could go their separate ways.

Jade, 27, was recently said to have been lined up for her first solo work away from the band with the BBC.

It was reported she’s wanted by the BBC after impressing bosses with her appearances on The Search and Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK.

An insider said: “The Beeb see her as a young Davina McCall and are trying to come up with some concepts for her now.

“She shone on The Search and really stood out when she was a guest on RuPaul.

“Jade has everything to make a great presenter — she can read an autocue while also being a bit ­spontaneous and funny. Not to forget she’s very easy on the eye,” they added to The Sun.

And Jade appeared to confirm the reports as she has since told the publication: “I have been filming today for a TV interview show, thing. That’s how it’s worded, yeah.”
