Molly-Mae shares unseen proposal snaps and reveals she was forced to go barefoot

Former Love Island runners-up Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have shared some previously unseen snaps of their romantic proposal.

Molly-Mae had previously shared a black-and-white video of the proposal but has now shared an in-colour version after it was posted on Instagram by Alpas Media, who filmed the romantic occasion.

Sharing some of the video to her own Instagram Story, Molly-Mae revealed that it perhaps didn't entirely go to plan.

Adding some text to her video, she wrote: "Side note- I had to take my shoes off when I was walking down the hill because it was that steep and my legs had turned to jelly… I nearly fell completely over."

Fans were quick to comment on the video after Alpas Media posted it to their own grid, with one writing: "Imagine having these videos as memories ..u guys smash it for them every time [three heart emojis]"

"This is such a precious moment. One day, when they are old, they can show their grandchildren and then they can show their grandchildren and so on.

"We’re fortunate in this day and age to record such precious moments. Those many generations ago, were lucky to get one photo, even on their wedding day" added another.

And a third simply wrote: "Most gorgeous video ever."

Molly-Mae and Tommy, who welcomed their baby daughter Bambi earlier this year, announced their engagement last month after he popped the question while on a romantic getaway in Ibiza.

Since she announced her engagement, Molly-Mae's fans have been left obsessed with her huge engagement ring, which is a "five-carat oval diamond" according to a jeweller expert, who also estimated it to be worth up to a whopping £1 million.

Laura Taylor, jeweller specialising in engagement and wedding rings at Lorel Diamonds, said that Tommy's choice of engagement ring is "perfect" for Molly, as it's a timeless style that compliments her existing jewellery collection and ties in seamlessly with her fashion-forward wardrobe.

Describing the ring, she said: "The main focus of the ring is a stunning five-carat oval diamond which looks to be near colourless with VVS1 clarity.

"These details show just how much care and attention to detail Tommy put into picking the perfect diamond to showcase his love for Molly."

The expert added: "In terms of the value of the ring, I would estimate that it is worth upwards of £600,000, potentially reaching a value of £1 million if Tommy had a role in designing the ring himself."
