A Place In The Sun newcomer Craig Rowe has addressed his shock after the presenter attended a shoot in Spain. The property expert from Bristol made his debut on the hit Channel 4 show last week, winning fans over with his “natural” style.
The on-screen presenter is becoming known for his daring fashion choices as he opted for very bright colours during his latest episode of the programme.
Despite not being on the show for long, Craig has admitted he has already suffered his fair share of mishaps.
The on-screen expert recalled a moment he had one of his shirts stolen while filming.
The incident took place while the property expert had been busy chatting with the Spanish locals.
Craig explained: “On my first shoot, I had a shirt stolen from a tree.
“I always try and have two shirts because we film over the course of three days.”
The Channel 4 presenter explained that he often has two shirts while shooting the programme – one is for when he views properties and the second is for when he chats with the house hunters about their final decision.
He continued: “I try and have two of everything, so throughout the week you can change. You often haven’t got time to do laundry and stuff.
“So on the second day of filming, I try and have my shirt with me so if I get hot and sweaty I can have one or the other with me.”
The Channel 4 presenter shared that he had hung his shirt upon a tree but things quickly went awry.
“I hung it on the tree while I was waiting for the camera crew to turn up,” he recalled.
“I got there early at this location and then I got chatting to some locals.”

Craig added: “People were asking what we were filming and I went back to get the shirt and it was gone.”
To the property expert’s shock, his shirt had been taken.
He chuckled: “Luckily, I had my second one so it was fine. But had that been the shirt I was using that would have been a nightmare.
“My advice is don’t hang shirts in trees because if people like them they will take them.”
He added: “I never saw it again.
“All I know is that there is someone walking around Dénia, Spain in a beautiful shirt that was once mine.”
The Bristol-born presenter, now based in London, made his show debut on the property programme this month.
A Place In The Sun airs weekdays on Channel 4 at 3pm.
