Peter Andre 'offers to financially support children' amid Katie Price bankruptcy

Peter Andre is said to have reached out to his ex-wife Katie Price after she went bankrupt.

The duo, who separated back in 2009, share two children together, Princess, 12, and 14-year-old son Junior.

Katie also shares Bunny, five, and Jett, six, with her ex-hubby Kieran Hayler, and their big brother Harvey Price, 17, from her past relationship with Dwight Yorke.

But it seems the Mysterious Girl hitmaker is hoping to take the pressure off the 41-year-old, as it’s reported he’s offering to financially support their bambinos.

An insider told new! Magazine: ‘Pete had a feeling this was going to happen, but he is far from happy about it. He feels sorry for Katie.

‘He has a soft heart and, despite their differences, he wouldn’t want to to see the mother of his kids suffer.’

The source went onto talk about their relationship and how the pop star phoned up Katie after hearing the news.

According to the publication, he told the mother of his two children that ‘he’s happy to look after Junior and Princess financially’.

Pete also has five-year-old daughter Amelia, and three-year-old son Theodore with his current wife Emily MacDonagh.

Katie was declared bankrupt during a hearing at the Insolvency and Companies Court in London last week after failing to pay back the agreed £12,000-a-month to her creditors.

But it seems as well as her ex-hubby, the reality star’s A-lister buddies are lending a hand as Kerry Katona, who has been declared bankrupt twice over the years, is said to be offering up advice to Katie.

‘Looking at my own finances made me think about my pal, Katie Price,’ she explained.

‘She’s just been made bankrupt, but she should take this opportunity to start afresh. My advice would be to surround herself with good people who she trusts and try not to feel too guilty.

‘I still feel awful for the people I couldn’t pay due to my own bankruptcy. All my money was stolen from me, so it’s a slightly different situation to blowing £45 million, but hopefully Katie will go easy on herself, as bankruptcy is a truly horrible experience.’
