Piers Morgan, 54, has blasted Lily Allen, 34, for reportedly telling Laurence Fox, 41, to stop “forcing his opinions on everybody else”. The Good Morning Britain presenter hit out at the singer after she supposedly slammed the actor’s appearance on BBC’s Question Time last month.
During the programme, Laurence argued with academic Rachel Boyle and called her a “racist” for branding him a “white, privileged male” in a debate about Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex.
Lily then reportedly fumed about Laurence’s comments on Instagram, writing: “Sick to death of luvvies like a Lawrence Fox going on TV and forcing their opinions on everybody else, when he’ll never have to deal with what normal people have to deal with in his gated community.
“BBC should be ashamed, this is not what we pay our TV licences for.”(sic)
The uploads added: “Stick to acting mate. Instead of ranting about things you know anything about.”

Piers criticised Lily’s response to Laurence and branded her “insufferably irritating”.
He hit back in his Event column for The Mail On Sunday: “After Laurence Fox’s hilariously anti-woke performance on Question Time tonight, the insufferably irritating Lily Allen blasted on Instagram: ‘Sick to death of luvvies like Fox going on TV and forcing their opinions on everybody else. Stick to acting, mate, instead of ranting about things you don’t know anything about’.”
The journalist went on to accuse Lily of being hypocritical, as she is often known to be outspoken with her views.
He jokingly added: “It’s very early to be announcing winners for my coveted Morgan Awards for 2020, but I think I can say with some degree of certainty that nobody will beat Ms Allen to the Pot Kettle Award for Laughable Lack of Self-Awareness. Congrats, Lily!”
Piers previously slammed Lily for her comments about the General Election last year.
He wrote in response to the Smile hitmaker in view of his seven million Twitter followers: “I think I speak for Britain when I say if @lilyallen doesn’t like it here, why doesn’t she f**k off?”
Following the Conservative party’s win, Lily took to her Instagram page to share her thoughts.
She shared a picture of a sad face emoji alongside the caption: “Some say it was Brexit, some day it was Jeremy [Corbyn].

“Personally, and I know no one wants to hear it, I think that racism and misogyny runs so so deep in this country and that Boris won because of his attitude towards those things and not in spite of them.”
Lily’s comments came after Boris Johnson was quizzed about language he had used to describe muslim women who wear burqas in the past on This Morning.
Host Phillip Schofield asked him: “Does it help that a Prime Minister of this great nation would use the terms bank robber and letterbox to describe muslim women who wear a burqa?”
Seeming surprised by the comment, the Conservative leader replied: “Well you know people dig out all sorts of articles…”

“You said it,” Phillip insisted. “What do you say to that?”
Boris replied: “What I can certainly say is I do not ever set out in any of the thousands of articles…”
“Would you like to apologise?” the presenter interrupted.
The Prime Minister responded: “I have already said sorry to any offence that I caused and I say it again. But, let me be very clear, I don’t set out to cause offence in what I’ve written.”
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
