Miley Cyrus jokes about sharing a ‘life together’ — and a closet — with Harry Styles

Harry Styles’ recent foray into womenswear may have earned him some critics, but it’s only made him more appealing to Miley Cyrus. The “Plastic Hearts” singer was recently asked during a Heart radio interview if she’d rather kiss Harry or Justin Bieber and she wasted no timewith her pick. “Harry, that’s easy! Justin Bieber I’ve known way too long, and it’s like a family,” she said with a smile, according to ET. “Harry Styles! He’s looking really good. Really good, I’m into the fishnet.” Miley was referring to Harry’s fishnet clad appearance in the March edition of Paper magazine. He also posed in a dress for Vogue’s December cover, sparking a mini-feud with conservative pundit Candace Owens. Miley, however, looked to Harry’s new style as evidence that the two have “similar tastes.” “I think sharing a closet, sharing a life together,” she joked. “It just makes sense.”

Selena Gomez slams Facebook for failing to remove disinformation about COVID-19 vaccines

Selena Gomez is calling out Facebook and Instagram for allowing the spread of false information about COVID-19 vaccines. On Tuesday, Dec. 29, the singer tweeted a link to a BBC interview with the head of the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) in which he argues Facebook and other social media giants have failed to remove posts containing disinformation about the vaccines, in spite of previous promises to remain vigilant. “Scientific disinformation has and will cost lives,” Selena tweeted. “@Facebook said they don’t allow lies about COVID and vaccines to be spread on their platforms. So how come all of this is still happening? Facebook is going to be responsible for thousands of deaths if they don’t take action now!” In the clip Selena shared, CCHD CEO Imi Ahmed says, “We took a thousand bits of misinformation and got volunteers to report it using the platform’s own reporting systems. And less than 5% of it was taken down.” He adds, “The truth is we’ve been gaslit by the social media companies, they say they’re doing their utmost. But in reality, they’re doing absolutely nothing.” Selena’s tweet comes after a previous post in which she slammed Facebook and Instagram for allowing content shared by a “Neo-Nazi network” to remain on the platform. In a statement to ET, a rep for Facebook said theorganization has “removed the content which violates our policies prohibiting dangerous organizations,” adding that the company continues working “to improve our technology to find and remove this content faster.”

Cardi B’s NYE plans inspire Pedialyte Twitter trend

Pedialyte, an oral solution usually given to sick kids for its rehydration and electrolyte replacement abilities, got a free marketing boost this week, courtesy of Cardi B and her 16 nearly 16 million Twitter followers. Ahead of New Year’s Eve, the “WAP” rapper asked fans to share their favorite hangover helpers — and Pedialyte was the winner by a long shot. “What do you guys recommend for hangovers?” she asked on Tuesday, Dec. 29. “I’m trying to see double on New Year’s Eve but I want to be good In the am,” she explained. According to the Daily Mail, fans responded with so many props for Pedialyte that it started trending on Twitter “within hours” of Cardi’s post. There were more than a few suggestions regarding how, when and how much Pedialyte to take, too. “Drink Pedialyte and pop a couple Vitamin C’s BEFORE you start drinking. Then just make sure you drink water between drinks/shots,” one user advised. “Glass of water between every drink and a solid dinner before it all kicks off (plus a multivitamin),” another suggested. “In the morning, another multivitamin, toast with peanut butter and banana, and Kinderlyte or Pedialyte Sport (both of these have a better electrolyte mix than Pedialyte/Gatorade).” Per Pedialyte’s website, the solution’s sugar/sodium combo is “designed to replenish fluids and electrolytes more effectively.” It has zinc in it as well, which is one of the many vitamins depleted by alcohol consumption, according to the Mayo Clinic.

Chris Rock has used 2020 to do some serious self-work. Speaking to Gayle King for the upcoming edition of “CBS Sunday Morning,” the comic, 55, said that after the coronavirus pandemic began, he upped his psychiatric therapy to about seven hours a week. “You have to tell the truth,” he said of the sessions (per People). “You have to tell – you have to go into therapy prepared to tell the worst part of yourself every week, you know?” He said he’s learned some valuable lessons about himself in the process, though. “I learned that I could be very hard on myself,” Chris admitted. “Like really, really hard on myself, and I need to relax. And I need to listen, I need to take chances.”

Billie Eilish briefly loses 100k IG followers after posting images of women’s chests

No top? No problem. Billie Eilish participated in the viral “post a photo of” challenge this week on Instagram — and she lost about 100,000 followers in the process. … Then she trolled them for being too immature to handle something as natural as a woman’s body. … And then, poof, she had 73 million followers again. Fans had asked her to post her phone’s lock screen and a drawing she likes, so on Monday, Dec. 28, the singer shared a bunch of previously unseen selfies, some dog pics and drawings that included women’s bare chests (and a lot of snakes) on her Instagram Stories (per Complex). “These probably lol I love b—-,” she wrote in the post. A fan soon noticed that within about an hour, Billie’s following on IG had taken a major hit, from 73 million to 72.9 million. Sharing a photo of the change, she wrote, “LMFAOOO y’all babies smh.” By Wednesday, though, the number was listed at 73.1 million followers, suggesting that either someone had messed with her ‘Gram, there was a glitch on the platform — or maybe dissing “babies” who can’t handle images of the human bod is simply the best way to get 100,000 followers.

Mossimo Giannulli is reportedly struggling in prison

As Lori Loughlin adjusts to life after prison, her husband, Mossimo Giannuli, is “having a rough time” behind bars, Us Weekly reports. The designer — whose five-month sentence for his part in the nationwide college admissions scandal began on Nov. 19 — is apparently struggling with anxiety related to his isolation. “He is allowed to call his daughters and son; those are the only good parts of his day,” a source tells Us. “He tries to sound strong for his children, but because of fear of a COVID outbreak, he has been spending almost all his time in his cell, which has been very mentally taxing.” The insider says the 57-year-old is “spending his time reading, writing letters to his family and planning future business ventures,” and “turning to prayer when he feels weak.” Lori, meanwhile, completed her two-month sentence and was released on Monday, Dec. 28. The couple was arrested last year amid allegations they paid a $500,000 bribe and misrepresented their daughters’ athletic experience to get them into USC. Lori is reportedly planning to ring in the new year with her kids.
