AceShowbiz –Rihanna and A$AP Rocky remain strong despite cheating allegations against the rapper. The pair were tied at the hip when arriving in Barbados over the weekend following their breakup rumors.
The Barbadian beauty and her beau jetted off to her homeland on Friday, April 15. In a clip obtained by TMZ, they showed some PDA as they arrived at the Grantley Adams International airport, brushing off the split speculation.
In the footage taken by an onlooker, the pair were seen walking arm-in-arm. Travis later put a protective arm around his pregnant girlfriend’s waist as they walked through the gate of an airport terminal.
Video and photos of Rihanna and Rocky arriving in Barbados had surfaced earlier, but they did not capture their PDA. In the paparazzi-taken footage, the pair were seen exiting the airport before hopping on an awaiting SUV.
This marks the first time Rihanna and Rocky were spotted together after they were hit with breakup speculation. On Friday, shoe designer Amina Muaddi, with whom Rocky was said to have an affair, blasted the “vile” rumors. “I have to speak up as this is not only directed towards me but it is related to people I have a great amount of respect and affection for. While Rih is continuing to live her serene, best dressed pregnancy life and I go back to my business,” read part of a statement she posted on Twitter and Instagram Story.
Later, the man who started the rumors apologized via Twitter. “Last night I made a dumb decision to tweet some information I had received,” @LOUIS_via_ROMA penned. “So I’d like to formally apologize to all parties I involved with my actions and for my reckless tweet.”
He continued, “I fully accept the consequences of my actions for my tweets and any harm they caused. I have no excuse for it, I’ve been way too wrapped up in Twitter drama and unfortunately leaned into being messy as a brand which is something going forward I’m going to move away from.” He reiterated his apology as he concluded his statement, “Again I apologize to them for this unnecessary drama.”
