After the pregnancy reveal to end all pregnancy reveals, Rihanna shared a new photo of her bump on Instagram — and this time, she took a more laid-back approach to capturing her growing belly on camera. Though, that's not to say there wasn't another bold display of midriff.
On Wednesday night, Rih ditched her bejeweled body chains and showed off her bare stomach while posing with her blue and orange jersey lifted above her bump in the bathroom. She wore coordinating gloves and her was styled in natural curls in a half-up, half-down 'do. "how the gang pulled up to black history month," she captioned the sweet snapshot.
Earlier this week, Rihanna announced that she was expecting her first child with boyfriend A$AP Rocky with a high-fashion photoshoot in the rapper's hometown of Harlem. In the pictures taken by celebrity photographer Miles Diggs, the songstress wore a vintage Chanel pink puffer jacket unbuttoned to showcase her stomach — which she covered in a Christian LaCroix jewel cross necklace and pearl chains — while A$AP was clad in a denim jacket and leather pants. A source told Entertainment Tonight that the couple is "so happy about her pregnancy."
"Rihanna has always wanted to be a mother and have children. She thinks A$AP is going to be the best dad," they said. "A$AP has been tending to all of Rihanna's needs and they are really enjoying this moment together as a couple."
A second insider added that Rihanna and A$AP are feeling "blessed and that they are "thrilled to be able to share the news with their fans."
