Seann Walsh confirms baby girls unusual name as he hopes shes posher than us

Seann Walsh has revealed the name of his newborn daughter and in doing so has admitted to fans he hopes "she’s posher" than him.

The 37 year old comedian and his partner Grace Adderley, 30, announced the birth of their first child together last week.

Sharing the news in a Instagram video, Seann began: "So Grace has had our baby," before going on to praise the hospital staff "who were great."

"The nurses have been coming up to me all morning and congratulating me, which is, it's just been lovely", he continued, before candidly admitting he had fainted during the birth.

Captioning the clip, he wrote: "BTW….I fainted…obviously. During the birth, not the chortle awards."

The former I'm A Celebrity star has since taken to Instagram to share an update, in which he revealed that he and Grace had chosen to name their daughter Wylda Primrose Adderley-Walsh.

He said: "Wylda Primrose Adderley-Walsh. I’m really hoping she’s posher than us. Can you tell? Can’t wait until the day she makes me take these down."

The announcement was accompanied by a sweet snap of the newborn wrapped in a fluffy blanket and adorable hat.

The post was met with messages of congratulations from his followers. Many Some of them responded by commenting on the name, with one fan writing: "Love her name".

A second follower said described Wylda as an "elegant name," whilst a third said: "Beautiful name".

Another said: "Love her name. Very unique". And a fifth wrote: "Adorable name".

Despite her being just one week old, Seann has already ruled out the possibility of his daughter following in his footsteps. Actress Kate Robbins asked what her stage name would be before the comedian replied: "She will be going nowhere near this business!!!!"

Speaking from hospital over the weekend, Seann thanked the "great" hospital staff and spoke of how "brave" Grace had been throughout the birth.

He said: "Grace has had our baby and [I'm] sat here in the very relaxing postnatal department and the staff have been great.

"Grace has been through so much this week but she's finally okay. We're home. Girl power". He added: "Her bravery has made my fainting all the more pathetic."

The Strictly Come Dancing alum recently that he is "so proud" of his partner Grace and has been posting other updates about their experience on social media.
