Stacey Solomon has unveiled her gorgeous Christmas card for this year, while also revealing why it’s a particularly special one.
The crafting queen, who earlier this week enjoyed a spot of late-night shopping, took to Instagram on Thursday to reveal 2022’s Christmas card picture.
She poses with her children Rex and Rose in the beautiful pics, while revealing that the card this year is all about her dogs Peanut and Teddy.
“The cheesy Annual Christmas Card Picture. I didn’t manage to get everyone in this year (there’s too many of us to manage),” she captioned the post, referencing her growing family with her husband, Joe Swash.
Joe, 40, and Stacey, 33, have two kids together, Rex, three, and Rose, one, and both of the TV stars have kids from previous relationships.
Stacey is mum to Leighton, 10, with Aaron Barham and Zachary, 14, with Dean Cox, while Joe shares 15 year old Harry with ex Emma Sophocleous.
Continuing her Christmas post, Stacey said it was “nice” to make this year’s card “all about [her dogs] Peanut and Teddy.”
“We lost our beautiful Theo last Boxing Day, we are so lucky to have Peanut, and to have been lucky enough to rescue & welcome Teddy to our family. Dogs are just so special,” the I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! champion said.
“We miss you Theo. We love you Teddy & Peanut. Thank you for being the best dogs in the whole wide world, And the best friends Rex, Rose, Leighton, Zach & Harry could wish for…To the moon and back boys.”
The three pictures Stacey uploaded show her looking cosy in a chunky white jumper while sitting in Joe’s childhood sleigh, which she had unveiled earlier this month.
Rex and Rose have never looked more adorable as they sit next to their mum in matching baby blue Christmas jumpers.
In the second picture, Teddy and Peanut have given up holding still and can be seen yawning and sniffing Rose’s head.
Fans and friends gushed over the shots in the comments, with one penning: “Adorable !! I think Rex needs to be the face of some kids shampoo! His hair is just pure goals!! @staceysolomon.”
“Absolutely beautiful, hope you guys have the most special Christmas,” wrote another, while a third added, “Beautiful picture, merry Christmas to you all xx”
Stacey had previously admitted that Christmas would be hard following the death of her beloved dog Theo on Boxing day last year.
On her Instagram live, she said: "Me and Rexy spent the morning visiting Theo. Cleaning her plaque and bringing her some fresh flowers.
"It sounds silly but it gets closer to Christmas and I remember that Boxing Day we lost her, I'm missing her more than ever.
"I'm feeling a bit of dread towards Boxing Day for some reason, we love you Fifi, happy heavely Christmas darling."
