Tiffany Haddish has broken her silence after being accused of grooming and molesting a teenage girl and her seven-year-old brother, saying the sketch they acted in was intended to be comedic, but it ‘wasn’t funny at all’.
Haddish, 42, along with comedian Aries Spears, 47, has been accused of grooming a 14-year-old girl and her 7-year-old brother to do explicit skits in a new lawsuit obtained by TMZ.
One video reportedly features Haddish teaching the underage girl how to mimic fellatio. Haddish is also accused of taking the boy to a home where she and Spears molested him while filming a Funny or Die video titled ‘Through a Pedophiles Eyes.’

‘I know people have a bunch of questions. I get it. I’m right there with you. Unfortunately, because there is an ongoing legal case, there’s very little that I can say right now.
‘But, clearly, while this sketch was intended to be comedic, it wasn’t funny at all – and I deeply regret having agreed to act in it.
‘I really look forward to being able to share a lot more about this situation as soon as I can.’
Last week, in a statement to DailyMail.com her attorney Andrew Brettler called the accusations against Haddish bogus: ‘Plaintiff’s mother, Trizah Morris, has been trying to assert these bogus claims against Ms. Haddish for several years.’

Brettler went on, ‘Every attorney who has initially taken on her case – and there were several – ultimately dropped the matter once it became clear that the claims were meritless and Ms. Haddish would not be shaken down.’
‘Now, Ms. Morris has her adult daughter representing herself in this lawsuit. The two of them will together face the consequences of pursuing this frivolous action.’
Spears’ attorney, Debra Opri also called the lawsuit a ‘shakedown’ in a statement to Page Six.

The siblings are suing Haddish and Spears for damages, claiming they have both developed ‘social disorders’ due to the resulting trauma.
They allege that Haddish was friends with their mother and that the Funny or Die video featuring John Doe was published when he was too young to consent.
He now claims to be afraid of being watched or recorded to the extent that he puts ‘band-aids over all the cameras on his electronics.’

Meanwhile his sister says her trauma has prevented her from dating as she is too scared to be taken advantage of and ‘led down a path of false trust like the path that Haddish led her down.’ Haddish allegedly paid Jane Doe a $100 for the skit, as reported by Page Six.
The siblings also said that their mother previously tried to reach a $15,000 settlement with Spears over the alleged molestation video.
Their mother alleges that she met Haddish through comedy and the two developed a close bond as they were both going through divorces at the time, in a statement to The Daily Beast.
According to the lawsuit, Haddish called the family for ‘every birthday and every Christmas.’
Meanwhile Funny or Die – a comedy video website and film/television production company – have released a statement to TMZ saying they had no involvement in creating the ‘absolutely disgusting’ video, despite what the lawsuit claims.
