It’s about time!
Weeks after Hailey Bieber was dubbed a “mean girl” for her behavior amid a rumored feud with Selena Gomez, her husband Justin Bieber is finally speaking out in her support! (Can y’all believe it’s taken this long?)
On Sunday, the pop star took to his Instagram with a subtle but telling post! Sharing two snapshots of the pair cuddling on a boat, the One Time crooner captioned the upload:
“LUV U BABY”
Cute!
The Rhode Skin founder was quick to jump into the comment section to share an emoji of two hands forming a heart. She also shared the post to her IG Stories — just so everyone knows where her hubby stands amid the drama! Ch-ch-check it out:

Unfortunately, not everyone was so convinced by the post. Haters teased:
“LOL did hailey post this for you”
“We know she probably made you post this
.”
Damn! Others weren’t pleased to see the trolling continue, chiming in:
“I love Sel leave Justin and Hailey ALONE. That’s not what our Queen teaches us! I believe she definitely happy without all that drama
.”
“Why everyone is hating? He loves her if he didn’t he would get a divorce He is not forced to say or post anything let the people live peacefully their relationship has nothing to do with y’all.”
Still, it’s apparently going to take a lot more than the Wizards of Waverly Place alum asking for her fans to treat others with kindness for this drama to be laid to rest. As Perezcious readers know, Hailey and Selena have been pitted against each other since 2018 when Jelena called things off for good — and Jailey quickly got married. While it seemed like they’d finally mended things, troubles arose earlier this year when Hailey and pals like Kylie Jenner were slammed for seemingly making fun of the Only Murders in the Building star.
Fans then did a deep dive into the 26-year-old’s socials to discover Hailey’s been seemingly copying the Disney Channel alum for years! Take this latest incident for example: on International Women’s Day last week, Selly G posted advice to her younger self, including a throwback photo. Days later, Hailey pretty much did the same thing, writing beside a photo of herself as a kid, “hugging this little girl extra tight.” Rumors of a feud were right back on!
While she was the supposed aggressor, it seems the fan reaction — which has been overwhelmingly #TeamSelena — is taking a toll on the beauty guru (and her IG follower count)! This is why we’re sure she was happy to have even more support from the Canadian singer!
On Sunday evening, JB also stepped out of the house to be by the star’s side at the Vanity Fair Oscar party! While Justin notably did NOT walk the red carpet alongside the socialite (who wore a custom Saint Laurent black gown), he did sneak into the event to join Hailey at the star-studded gathering. A source told Page Six on Monday morning:
“He came in a back entrance and met Hailey inside.”

Sadly, there may have been a concerning reason the Holy vocalist didn’t pose for photos! According to the insider, he “did not look well,” they recalled:
“Justin did not look well. He was hunched over and wearing a blanket.”

Another witness said the Grammy winner looked “tormented” and seemed to be acting “weird.” Uh oh!! According to Vanity Fair’s report, however, things weren’t as bad as they sounded:
“Justin Bieber arrived… wearing what appeared to be a quilted blanket on his back and immediately went up to Clippers star Russell Westbrook, who was clad in head-to-toe Thom Browne.”
The couple reportedly looked normal and chipper inside the bash, other sources told Page Six. Still, it sounds a little worrisome. Perhaps all this online drama is weighing on the musician?
