After announcing her mom’s passing, the former ‘Community’ star takes to Instagram to share several pictures of the two and writes in the caption, ‘until we meet again.’

AceShowbizYvette Nicole Brown is mourning the death of her beloved mother Fran. When sharing the sad news on social media, the actress portraying Shirley Bennett on “Community” admitted to feeling “devastated” by her loss.

On Saturday, May 29, the 49-year-old reposted an obituary penned by her brother on Instagram. “I am devastated. I don’t have the words. Thankfully, my big brother does. I didn’t share what my family was dealing with because it was too big. It still is-especially dealing with it so far away from home,” she began her message.

“I’m still processing how and why this had to happen now like this. I may never understand. But I trust His Will. That’s all I know to do,” she continued. “Thank you for all the prayers. Sadly, God had other plans. I love you, my sweet mama. [Love] Always. #MamaFran.”

The “Big Shot” star went on to unveil several pictures of her and her mom, one of which saw the mother-and-daughter duo smiling ear-to-ear to the camera. In the accompaniment of the post, she wrote, “Until we meet again #TheRealMVP [Love]#MamaFran #MyMommy #ThankYou.”

Yvette has since received support from her famous friends. One in particular was Meredith Salenger who replied, “Oh Yvette. I’m so sorry for your loss. What a lucky mama she was to have had you as her loving daughter. Hugs upon hugs. I’m around the corner if u want me to come be with you. Anything u need.” Laverne Cox chimed in, “Sending you and your family so much love today. So much love and prayers.”

Earlier this month, Yvette celebrated Fran in honor of Mother’s Day. Sharing a photo of her mom and her dog on Twitter, she raved, “Her. It’s all because of her. This tiny wonder. #MamaFran #HappyMothersDay. Fun Fact: only she can make #MisterHarleyBrown smile this big! Every picture with her he’s a country ham! Lol!.”
