Air Jordan 7 "Flint" Set for Retro Release

Jordan Brand‘s Air Jordan 7 “Flint” — a classic LS colorway that debuted in 2006 — is set to return later this year as part of the Jumpman’s yearly retro offerings. Though the original pair’s crisp palette and striking colorblocking are left entirely intact, material upgrades have been made to refresh the look for a fresh generation of Air Jordan fanatics.

Uppers feature gray suede toeboxes, quarters and collar detailing, all surrounded by white leather trim and overlays. As mentioned above, both materials appear to have been enhanced: the suede is decidedly richer than that of its predecessor, while the tumbled leather appears to be more supple. Neoprene tongues serve up a multi-tone gray pattern, with a rich hit of purple appearing towards the top to match the purple Jumpman on the cut-out collar and the “23” graphic on the rubberized two-tone heel badge. White midsoles with black and gray detailing finalize the palette, and laces boast metal aglets for a final touch of premium flair.

The Air Jordan 7 “Flint” will reportedly release on May 8 and retail for $190 USD, though both date and price have yet to be confirmed by Nike.
