Arc'Teryx Veilance Is "Shapeshifting Layers" for SS23

Established by Arc’teryx in 2009, the label’s Veilance counterpart places a priority on advanced technical wear. Renowned as a purveyor of lightweight, high-performing essentials, the forward-minded imprint has pulled back the curtain on its latest collection, titled “Shapeshifting Layers, Full Range of Motion,” for Spring/Summer 2023.

This season, the tech-first label allows tailoring to support full expressions and movements, as the lookbook, pictured above, cleverly depicts. Among the range, the Monitor Lightweight Coat features a three-quarter-length construction, with GORE-TEX materials and a highly-breathable DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish, while the Indisce Tech Wool Blazer appears in the brand’s sustainable Tech Wool softshell fabric, constructed via recycled polyester with warmth, softness and technical performance in mind.

The Field Longsleeve Shirt takes inspiration from military uniforms, with a light, breathable take on a normally thick silhouette. Similarly, the short-sleeve version lets movement prevail, with four-way stretch polyester. Both feature two chest pockets with flap closures and sleeve vents with snap covers.

As for bottoms, the Voronoi Pant is made with laminated construction, ergonomic 3D patterning and Fortius™ 2.0 stretch softshell fabric that’s fit to brave the elements. The Secant Comp Short, meanwhile, offers a woven, water-repellent design that cuts to the knee with two thigh pockets.

The first delivery from the Arc’Teryx Veilance Spring 2023 collection is now available on the brand’s website and in-person at stores. Take a look at the lookbook in the gallery above.
