Canon Previews Its Revolutionary Full-Frame EOS R3

Always continuing to innovate, Japanese camera expert Canon has now offered fans a preview of its latest EOS model: the R3.

While the new camera will no doubt retain the quality you can expect from Canon, it also separates itself from the company’s previous models by being the first-ever to carry a full-frame, back-illuminated stacked CMOS sensor, which provides faster read-out speeds and significantly reduces “rolling shutter” distortion.

The camera’s electronic shutter system supports continuous shooting of up to 30 frames-per-second, while its enhanced autofocus functionality utilizes deep learning technology in order to provide enhanced face, eye, head, and body detection. Of course, as a workhorse designed for those in the field, the R3 will also come with an integrated vertical grip, and weather resistance equal to that of the EOS-1D X Mark III.

For now, Canon hasn’t announced any official pricing information or release date for the EOS R3, so those interested should definitely stay tuned for more updates to come.

Elsewhere in tech, PowerBen has released a 40,200mAh power station.
