Christine McGuinness reveals she 'doesn't know life without' ex-husband Paddy

Christine McGuinness expressed her fears over life without her ex-husband Paddy McGuinness.

The model, 35, and the former Take Me Out host, 48, split in July of last year but still live in the family home together with their children.

They share three kids together: Felicity, six, and twins Leo and Penelope, nine, who she recently revealed are not aware that their parents are no longer together.

When asked how long she’ll continue living with her ex, Christine revealed that they both didn’t want to do anything to ‘upset’ their children.

‘We definitely don’t want to upset them or change anything too quickly, and for me as well. I like slow changes, and we’re alright – we’re family.,’ she told OK! magazine.

‘I’ve known Paddy for 15 years, so I don’t know life without him. It is what it is.’

Christine and Paddy spent Christmas together three months ago, decorating the tree with their brood, shortly after photos emerged of Christine kissing pal Chelcee Grimes, 30.

While she and Paddy have remained on friendly terms and are still cohabiting, Christine has revealed that she stayed in her marriage for so long because it was ‘comfortable.’

The mum-of-three previously said: ‘I didn’t want my family to ever fall apart and that’s why I stayed married.

‘As an autistic woman, I like to stay where I’m comfortable – I like things to stay the same.

‘I understand myself better now. That’s where I was comfortable – just knowing that it was me, Patrick and the children. But sometimes change has to happen. You just have to deal with it in the best way possible.’

As for her own dating life, Christine previously said that she ‘can’t think of anything worse’ than going on dates right now.

‘I was talking about this with a friend, actual dating I can’t think of anything worse and I think for an autistic person it is so much worse because the dating scene, from what I’ve heard, you have to go into a restaurant, you’re meeting someone you don’t know, you’re in a place that you might not have been to before,’ she said.

‘I don’t drink so I wouldn’t go to a bar but I never really dated so going on dates for me is not something I want to do. I absolutely do not want to go on a date.’
