Clints Has Blacked Out Its TRL 2.0 Sneaker for FW22

Quickly following up on the silver, white and black iteration of its TRL 2.0 sneaker, Manchester-based imprint Clints has just teased another edition of the shoe, and this time it’s coming in a “VantaBlack” colorway.

Junior Clint’s label has been keeping busy as of late. Since the brand opened its flagship store in Manchester, it’s given Clints more flexibility to house more styles simultaneously — look no further than the shop’s T-shirt vending machine for proof of that. Also, Clints just previewed its Fall/Winter 2022 lookbook and it included a selection of heavy-set outerwear and sleek, oversized tees, hoodies, and knitwear that can be partnered perfectly with its new sneaker.

For this new TRL 2.0, the design comes packed with inspiration from basic Trek shoes and also features a Neoprene upper with layered paneling for increased ankle and foot support. Furthermore, rubber branding has been included on the heels, as well as on the branded toe puff. Rounding off the design, the blacked-out shoe comes with an EVA midsole and reflective 3M details.

The most (pleasantly) surprising feature of the shoe comes in the form of the branded Clints sole which is spread across the full length of the bottom of the sneaker. This same branding is also complemented by a customary hangtag which can be kept on or removed.

You can take a closer look at the new TRL 2.0 “VantaBlack” from Clints above and be sure to keep an eye on the brand’s official Instagram page to keep up to date with the official release details.
