Detailed Look at the fragment design x Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low

Travis Scott‘s birthday was last week, and the 29-year-old superstar is set to keep the festivities rolling all year long with a wide swath of collaborative footwear drops — one of which is the fragment design x Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low. Marking Scott’s second go-around with the low-cut iteration of Michael Jordan‘s first Jordan Brand sneaker (he last collaborated on the AJ1 Low in 2019), this new style combines Scott’s signature backwards Swoosh with a color scheme that’s heavily inspired by fragment design’s now-legendary Air Jordan 1 from 2014.

The design is centered around a supersized backwards midfoot Swoosh on the lateral quarter, done up in cream to match the design’s aged midsole, nylon tongue and Instagram archive page-approved cream laces. Quarters and toeboxes are constructed of white leather, with regular-sized medial Swooshes, mudguards, eyestays and heel tabs taking on black leather. Rich pops of blue are introduced into the mix via the collar lining, Nike Air tongue tag and heel. Besides the signature backwards Swoosh, there’s also a wealth of special branding on the heel: debossed fragment design hits are present on both the left and right shoes, while a white Cactus Jack logo is embroidered on the left shoe and the right shoe retains an OG ball-and-wings logo.

At the time of writing, an official release date for the fragment design x Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low has yet to be announced. However, just like its high-top counterpart, it’ll likely drop later this year.
