British electronic musician Four Tet has donated a vinyl pressing of his unreleased ⣎⡇ꉺლ༽இ•̛)ྀ◞ ༎ຶ ༽ৣৢ؞ৢ؞ؖ ꉺლ album to Resident Advisor’s charity raffle. For the raffle, organizers will erect a pop-up record store titled Dig Deep, taking over All My Friends in London’s Hackney Wick on November 25 and 26.
All proceeds will go towards War Child, a humanitarian organization that provides aid for children living under global conflict. The event is being organized by War Child’s The Right To Dance, one of the organization’s fundraising platforms that works with the music industry to raise awareness and host music-focused fundraisers.
⣎⡇ꉺლ༽இ•̛)ྀ◞ ༎ຶ ༽ৣৢ؞ৢ؞ؖ ꉺლ is Four Tet’s alias under which he created a single album in 2021. While the project was quietly shared with some fans, it’s never made it onto streaming platforms or been released to the public as a hard copy.
Along with the musician, dozens of artists and labels have made their own donations to War Child’s raffle. The raffle is open exclusively to those 18 and older who reside in the UK. By buying a ticket, individuals will be entered to win one of a variety of prizes, the mix of which includes the Four Tet album, two Audio-Technica turntables and cartridges, a Xone Mixer and tickets to Field Maneuvers 2024. They’ll also have the opportunity to win Dig Deep slipmats and a tote bag, along with a mystery assortment of records donated by other participating artists.
