Goodhood's First Ever adidas Originals Collaboration Sets the Campus 80 on Fire

East London’s Goodhood is undeniably one of the best retailers in town, if not the country, and now it’s celebrating another achievement: collaborating with adidas Originals for the very first time. Taking on the classic Campus 80, Goodhood applies techniques and touches that have seldom been seen in the adidas Originals range, equipping the pair with thermochromic panels that react to heat.

Goodhood’s Campus 80 starts life as a clean black-on-black pair, with hairy suede uppers, a leather tongue, heel, and stripes, all appearing in an understated fashion. This signature monochromatic colorway is contrasted by a white sole unit and Goodhood’s insignia appearing on the premium black leather insoles, while adidas Originals Trefoil logos debossed into the tongue add a subtle touch of branding.

However, as the images show, the Campus 80 has a trick up its sleeve: thermochromic panels. When exposed to direct heat above 27°C, the Three Stripes and heel overlay turn white, showcasing stars and Goodhood’s logo. Dubbed as being effectively two shoes in one, the Goodhood Campus 80 is set to be one of the best shoes in your rotation — it’s perfect no matter what the occasion. Rounding out the collaborative pair is further Goodhood branding on the mid-panel next to the Three Stripes.

The Goodhood x adidas Originals Campus 80 will release exclusively via a Goodhood raffle that opens from May 20 until May 27, and the pair is set to cost £110 GBP (or $143 USD).
