H. Moser & Cie once again defies watchmaking traditions for its own take on Haute Horlogerie. Moser’s latest concept creation arrives in the form of the Endeavour Minute Repeater Tourbillon. Taking one of the oldest yet sophisticated complications, the minute repeater, and including the technicality of a flying tourbillon, the end result is a stunning watch that lets the wearer admire time both visually and audibly.
In keeping with H. Moser & Cie knack for minimal and deep dials, this watch sees a new “Electric Blue” color that’s free of indexes — the complexities lay within the movement. Also, to maintain Moser’s quest to preserve the finesse of the watch while keeping it understated, the chimes were placed on a single level and curved so as not to interfere with the flying tourbillon. The 43mm case was elected to be crafted in titanium due to the transition metal’s high elastic modulus and low density. This means that it will retain better vibratory energy, will be lightweight, and experience less deformation.
The Endeavour Concept Minute Repeater Tourbillon (ref. 1903-0500) is powered by the hand-wound HMC 903 calibre movement and boasts 35 jewels and a 90-hour power reserve. Available in only 20 examples, this elegant watch will cost you $370,000 USD. More info can be found now over at H. Moser & Cie.
