Ashley Tisdale is being sued over her involvement in a car crash last year that allegedly left a woman with “severe” physical injuries and several emotional traumas, including “loss of love.” A woman named Lina Gonzales claims the “High School Musical” actress drove in a “negligent and reckless manner” on Sept. 6, 2022, and that led to a crash, TMZ reports. Per the lawsuit, Lina Gonzales alleges that she was waiting to make a left turn on Los Angeles’ famed Hollywood Boulevard when the actress changed lanes and caused the collision. However, after the crash, Ashley made a “big fuss” and started calling Lina unspecified names, the attorney claims.

A spokesperson for “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody” star denied that Ashley used aggressive words in the aftermath of the accident, claiming the women exchanged information and “moved on.”

The woman on the other end of Ashley Tisdale’s crash, Lina Gonzales, claims to have been massively affected by the incident. Her attorney said Lina now has “severe neck and back injuries” as a result of the crash. In the lawsuit, she alleges she’s suffered wage loss, loss of use of property, hospital and medical expenses, general damage, property damage, loss of earning capacity, loss of society, love, protection, companionship and consortium.

Lina’s attorney told TMZ that the medical expenses total around $140,000. Lina, via her attorney, demanded $600,000 as compensation, but Ashley rejected the number.

Lina didn’t just lay blame on Ashley Tisdale either. Since the actress’s car appeared to be leased or rented, Lina also named those who “entrusted” the car to Ashley as possible co-defendants. She believes they share the “responsibility” of her injuries and damages, Page Six said.

A final status conference for the case is scheduled for Feb. 13, 2025, and a non-jury trial date is set for Feb. 27, 2025, Page Six said.
